WiseGuy suggests: Have you heard that many venues will release tickets to a performance about a week before the date of the show? These tickets are released from group sales and whatever blocks of tickets are being held for the performers friends and family etc. There is often another final release of tickets sometimes really good ones about one or two hours before the performance is set to begin. Of course it is a good idea to be able to plan ahead and knowing that you have early access to tickets during a pre-sale is the best way to be sure you get your tickets to the show.
